Atlas Disposal hosted 35 Children’s Miracle Network kids & their families at the air show rehearsal for the Capital Airshow Friday afternoon, providing them shade, food, drinks, and up front viewing. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide comfort, treatment and hope to millions of sick kids. In fact, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals treat one in 10 children in North America each year.
We also hosted a Snowball Express Snowflake event with 110 family members of fallen hero’s at the Saturday airshow. Snowball Express started in early 2006 with a simple idea – to provide hope and new memories to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11.
“Snowflake” events are events where local Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA) Chapters work with local concerts, sporting events, fairs, circuses or any other fun gathering occurring in their immediate area to provide a unique opportunity for the Snowball Express Children.
Atlas Disposal was proud to assist both these worthy organizations through our VIP tent at this year’s 2015 Capital Airshow.
