Dave has over 25 years in the recycle and waste industry. Joining atlas in June of 1999, a year after formation, the company has seen consistent growth under his direction. Dave is a past President for the Citrus Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce and an active Rotarian. In his spare time, Dave enjoys family, golfing, and the occasional flight to grab a $100 hamburger!
NICK SIKICH | CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Nick joined Atlas in 2003 and now has over 35 years of recycle and waste industry experience. He is integral in developing and implementing procedures to enhance operating efficiencies and improve service. Nick supports many local charities and volunteers time as a board member for the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, Nick enjoys water skiing on the Sacramento River.
STEVEN BRUCE | V.P. MARKETING & SALES
Steven is another veteran Garbage Man with over 25 years of multi-faceted recycle and waste industry experience. He joined Atlas in 2005 and quickly became a trusted resource to waste brokers and the local business community for everything from residential to commercial to municipal projects. Steven is very active in Rotary International and the local community, he can be found most weekends refereeing adult soccer games.
BOB ANGELL | FLEET MANAGER
Bob Angell might be new to Atlas Disposal but he is not new in the Waste Industry. Bob started his career in the Waste Industry right after graduating from California State University Chico in 1981 where he was recruited by Browning-Ferris Industries as a Regional Maintenance Manager for the then Pacific Region. His BFI career took him to many destinations such as Northern and Southern California; Atlanta, Georgia; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Caracas, Venezuela and many different challenging positions in Maintenance and Operations, in a growing and dynamic industry. In 1997, Bob left BFI to join USA Waste as a District Manager in Northern California, with Nick Sikich, and then was part of the USA Waste / Waste Management merger where he was part of the comprehensive cultural transformation strategy and managed integration initiatives as a Divisional Vice President in 2000. Bob became the Senior District Manager for Waste Management in Oakland, CA in 2002 and directed all aspects of business operations with full profit and loss responsibilities for one the largest hauling sites in the nation. In 2009 he led a team of Municipal Contract Compliance managers with successful Franchise Agreement negotiations and renewals in Northern California until 2012 when Bob decided it was time to find an organization that was dynamic and showed great potential for growth opportunities within the Sacramento area, Atlas Disposal was the answer. Bob is the Fleet Manager for Atlas Disposal.
ADAM BEESON | OPERATIONS MANAGER
Another Atlas success story, Adam joined the company in 1998 as a driver and quickly rose through the ranks with a promotion to supervisor and currently acts as Operations Manager. Adam has over 25 years in the Trucking Industry, with 15 of those years as a supervisor which lends a unique insight when dealing with field operation issues, personnel, and equipment. Adam is very interested in alternative disposal methods from composting to anaerobic digestion; and is involved in various pilot programs in the community.
Sean Moen | General Manager Atlas ReFuel
Sean is the newest addition to the Atlas team. Joining us in 2015, Sean brings a solid background in the fleet fueling and wholesale fuel industry as well as a strong foundation in business finance and a passion for innovation. While studying for his Bachelor's degree, Sean was busy developing his skillset in a small, family-run business environment full-time. His experience ranges from billing and customer service to financial analysis and department management to long-term strategic planning – Sean has been a part of it all. Graduating in 2008 with his undergraduate degree and again in 2010 with his MBA; Sean is uniquely positioned to grasp all aspects that impact our decision making process. As the General Manager of ReFuel, Sean is responsible for all of the facets of our natural gas business – from site maintenance to station growth and business planning.
ROBIN STUHR | CONTROLLER
As Controller of Atlas Disposal, Robin is responsible for all Financial and Accounting functions. She has over 15 years of Financial and Accounting Management experience. Her career began in the customer service and hospitality industries; she then spent 7 years in the highly competitive Tech Industry before joining Atlas in early 2007. Robinâs specialties are: Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury Management, Budget Management, IT/Systems Management, Internal Controls, and Process and Procedure creation and implementation.
